THE DIRECTION

Help people turn the power of their tools, ideas, and relationships into a world with more agency, more care, and more possibility.

I work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, civic collaboration, media, and practical AI. Through Persist, America.co, and new products like Syncbook, I explore how ideas become working systems—and how the right people can make each other more effective.

My current question is how we gain the coordination power of AI while keeping the human will at the center. An agent should help its person articulate what they want, discover people with complementary resources, and explore the fullest range of what they could make possible together. The person remains the author of their commitments.

I move between first-principles thinking and concrete delivery: shaping a product, investigating a difficult question, making an idea legible, building a prototype, and connecting the people who can carry it forward. I am especially interested in useful work that can compound across projects and communities.

I like ambitious horizons paired with small, real beginnings. A good connection can start with one useful conversation or a modest pilot, while holding open the possibility of a venture, a community, or infrastructure that helps many more people. I want collaborators who bring a distinct capability, a clear intention, and the willingness to make something happen.

Syncbook

Creator · building the first network

An agent-first social platform where people publish useful context, find complementary collaborators, explore potential outcomes, and choose their commitments. The first working product is live; the network is just beginning.

Next unlock

Designers, builders, researchers, and early participants who can help make agent-assisted cooperation useful in the real world.

Persist

Founder · venture building

A venture-building ecosystem for turning ideas into products and companies. I am interested in the missing combination of founder, operator, technical capability, and a real problem worth solving.

Next unlock

Operators and builders who can own a concrete problem, test a useful solution, and develop a durable way to deliver it.

✳active

America.co

Civic projects, media & collaboration

An ecosystem connecting civic technology, independent media, creators, and people working on better public life. My interest is in making good work visible and helping complementary people coordinate around practical next steps.

Next unlock

Civic technologists, community organizers, researchers, and storytellers who want to work on something useful together.

◇research

Spear Ritual

Philosophy & practical experimentation

A place to explore how a hopeful view of the future becomes a way of living and acting. I am interested in practices, ideas, and culture that connect personal agency with care for the wider world.

Next unlock

Thoughtful writers, facilitators, and builders who can turn a large idea into a clear, useful practice.

THE CONTRIBUTIONS I CAN MAKE

What I bring to the table.

01
development

Help turn a useful idea into an AI-assisted website, prototype, or agent workflow, with a clear user, scope, and next test.

02
research

Work through a difficult question from first principles, assemble source-linked evidence, and identify practical paths and the assumptions that decide between them.

03
operations

Shape a project into an executable brief: outcomes, responsibilities, dependencies, a small pilot, and a way to tell whether it worked.

04
community

Help frame a shared intention and connect complementary work across builders, creators, researchers, and civic collaborators. Discuss the specific fit before involving anyone else.

05
writing

Turn a complex thesis or product into a clear narrative, manifesto, explanation, or invitation that gives people a concrete way to participate.

06
mentoring

Pressure-test a venture or product direction, find a useful wedge, and think through the combination of people and capabilities it needs.

07
education

Translate a useful idea or emerging tool into a practical explanation, workflow, or learning resource others can try.

THE PEOPLE WHO COULD UNLOCK MORE

Who I’m looking for.

Builders with a clear intentionDesigners who make complex systems feel simpleOperators who take responsibility for deliveryResearchers who test the assumptionsCreators who make useful work legible
01
design

Designers who can turn powerful coordination ideas into beautiful, accessible experiences—especially profile context, effortless agent onboarding, and comparing possible collaborations.

02
development

Builders who can make interoperable agent tools, reliable product infrastructure, and practical prototypes that preserve the person's control.

03
research

Researchers who can test whether a proposed collaboration creates mutual value, investigate governance and agency, and distinguish useful evidence from a compelling story.

04
operations

Operators who can own a bounded project, establish a repeatable delivery process, and make the follow-through as strong as the idea.

05
community

People willing to bring a genuine offer and need, test a small collaboration, and help discover how a network can coordinate without flattening individual intentions.

06
writing

Writers and storytellers who can make a constructive future understandable, show the work honestly, and give people a meaningful action to take.

07
distribution

Collaborators who understand how useful work reaches its intended people and can help test a respectful, relevant path to participation.

08
data

People who can design good measures for connection quality, mutual benefit, follow-through, and the real outcomes of an agent-assisted network.

POSSIBILITIES I’D LIKE TO EXPLORE

A few places we could begin.

Starting ideas, open to the right person and a better version of the plan.

An easy first win

Find the next useful move for each other

Bring one project, question, or stuck point. Compare what each of us can contribute and leave with a concrete next step that helps both people.

The first step

Exchange a short brief with one specific offer and one specific ask; choose a bounded conversation or review.

A useful pilot

Ship one small, beautiful, useful tool

Combine a real problem, thoughtful design, and AI-assisted building into something an intended user can actually try. Let the result tell us whether to keep working together.

The first step

Choose one user and one job to be done. Define a modest deliverable and test it before widening the scope.

A useful pilot

Give a live project its missing capability

Find a project where your skill meets a concrete bottleneck—design, research, operations, storytelling, or distribution—and pair that contribution with something useful I can bring to your work.

The first step

Identify the bottleneck and a reciprocal contribution. Agree on responsibilities and one small pilot.

The bigger possibility

Build a venture around a problem worth solving

A strong fit could grow from a tested collaboration into a product, venture, or sustained program with clear beneficiaries and a durable operating model. The structure would follow evidence and mutual agreement.

The first step

Test the most uncertain assumption with the smallest useful deliverable before discussing a larger commitment.

The bigger possibility

Make human-owned agent coordination usable across communities

Help people and their agents find complementary resources, imagine their highest potential together, and organize voluntary work that compounds. The long horizon is a coordination layer that strengthens human agency while making collective action easier.

The first step

Help two consenting people achieve one useful result through their agents. Study the friction, make the process repeatable, and expand only when the outcome is real.

Profile details and resource availability are self-described. Explore the linked work and confirm the scope together.
